M.I.D. London Gazette 21 November 1944: Awarded for operation Neptune, the invasion of Normandy, Commander, H.M.S. Onslaught.
M.I.D. London Gazette 5 December 1944: Awarded for attacks on enemy convoys in the English Channel, Commander, H.M.S. Onslaught.
M.I.D. London Gazette 17 April 1945: Awarded for minelaying and attacking an enemy convoys off Norway, Commander, H.M.S. Onslaught.

Anthony Pleydell-Bouverie was the third son of the Earl of Radnor. He appears briefly in David Niven’s book The Moon is a Balloon when serving in the Mediterranean Fleet as the Commander-in-Chief’s flag lieutenant, meeting Niven on behalf of the Commander-in-Chief. He commanded H.M.S. Onslaught during 1944 and 1945.
