Sergeant Frederick Tandy joined his battalion in France on the 4th of August, 1916, and served until the 17th of March, 1918. He was commissioned on the 13th of February, 1919, into the 1st battalion London Regiment. The lot is sold with an original 56th (London) Division gallantry card.
