1901-4. West Midlands. A group of four silver engraved prize medals for Music, all named to W.E. Hyde; openwork badges (3), Dudley Town Brass Band (2), dated 16 Dec. 1901, one with engraved clasp ‘Crystal Palace 1902’; and the Handsworth Horticultural Society Band Contest, 1904; The British Bandsman Medal of Honour for the Trombone, in silver, 38mm, with engraved unattached bars ‘Blackheath 1902-3’, ‘Stourbridge 1903’, ‘Cradley 1903’, ‘Cannock 1903’ and ‘Blakenhall 1903’.[Lot] An interesting an unusual group, generally very fine; loosely mounted into a small frame with velvet backing (£40-60)
