France, 1827. Charles X, Review of the National Guard, bronze medal signed E.S.R.C., equestrian portrait of king to left., reverse REVISTA DE CARLOS X A GUARDA NATIONAL DE PARIS NO CAMPO DE ARTEEM 29 DE ABRIL DE 1827, 27mm. Extremely fine, but a little dull and dusty, rare (£25-35)

A curious medal, worthy of further research: the Portuguese legend on the reverse is hard to explain while the stylle and signature indiciates that the piece is clearly not a product of the French mint.
