Netherlands, 1743. Geboorte van Prinses Caroline [Birth of Princess Caroline of Orange], silver medal by N. van Swinderen, facing busts of William and Anne, reverse Fecundity carrying child, Leeuwarden in distance, 47mm (v.Loon 176; KPK 2636; MI i, 571/207). Fields appear to have been so somewhat burnished but a pleasing medal and otherwise extremely fine and nicely toned (£130-160)
