Victoria (1837-1901), Maundy sets (8), 1838, 1839 proof, except for Threepence, 1841, 1844, 1845, 1847, 1848, 1851 [32]. Mostly very fine or better, some threepences are probably currency issues (£150-200)

In this and some following lots, for convenience of cataloguing, we have described as sets, the series of four coins (silver Penny to Fourpence) even if the threepence is a currency striking; though strictly speaking, it could be argued, these are part sets with an addditional currency threepence.
