Dietrich, 60mm, fine; Argentina, Commercial Association of Rio de Janeiro, 1906, bronze medal, unsigned, 50mm, extremely fine; France, Compagnie Generale Transatlantique, the Launch of the Colombie, plated medal by M. Renard, 58mm, fine; other bronze medals (2), one by A. Hartig [6]. Last very fine (£30-50)

The work of the Bohemian medallist Richard Placht was much admired by Forrer, who referred to his Portrait of a Young Girl as “a very pretty study”
