R.H.S. Bronze Medal: ‘E. F. Browning, brewer, at great personal risk, rescued Fanny E. Easton from drowning in the Menai Straits, on the 12th July, 1896.’ Sold with extracts from The Times which describes the rescue of Miss Easton after she had been knocked overboard by the swinging boom of the yacht Fenella.
