Private Arthur David Crockett enlisted at Swansea in 1931 and served in Sudan 1932-33; West Indies 1934-35; Egypt 1935-38; Palestine 1938, and in France with the B.E.F. from 22 September, 1939, until he was evacuated from Dunkirk on 31 May, 1940. He was discharged Medically Unfit in November 1943.
