He has proved himself to be an outstanding crew member over the past two years. He has trained his crews to the highest standards. As a leader both in the air and on the ground, he has been an excellent example to the less experienced soldiers. His sense of humour, cheerfulness and devotion to duty have contributed much to the success of air drops. He has been commended for his actions in hazardous conditions by the Captains of aircraft.’
