A rare North West Frontier M.C. group of six awarded to Brigadier H. F. McIntyre, Dogra Regiment, Indian Army
Military Cross, G.V.R.; British War and Victory Medals (Capt.); India General Service 1908-35, 1 clasp, North West Frontier 1930-31 (Capt., 2-17 Dogra R.); India Service Medal; Pakistan Independence Medal 1947 (T/Brig., Staff), the first four mounted court style as worn, together with a companion set of eleven miniature medals which include the I.G.S. 1936-39 and WW2 stars and medals,good very fine (6)

M.C. and M.I.D. London Gazette 6 May, 1932: ‘For distinguished services in the field in connection with military operations on the North West Frontier of India October 1930 to March 1931.’
Henry Finch McIntyre served with the Aden Field Force, 1 October 1917 to 4 February 1918, and with the Egyptian Expeditionary Force from 10 February to 31 October, 1918. On the North West Frontier of India, 30 August to 12 September, 1930 (M.C. and despatches); and in Waziristan, 10-19 July, 1938, Kharre operations. In January 1948, he was accepted for service with the Pakistan Army for the period of two years, and retired in 1950. Sold with an original portrait photograph, copies of his comprehensive Record of Service, and a copy of a group photograph taken at Quetta, including the recipient, Field Marshal Chetwode and Colonel B. L. Montgomery.
