Ex Hamilton-Smith Collection 1927.
Gunner Patrick Gilraine of the Bombay Artillery was attached to No. 7 Brigade of the Indian Naval Brigade, Bombay Marine, being borne on the books of H.M. Pendant Vessel Calcutta. For this Brigade’s services see previous Lot. Gilraine is confirmed on the roll as one of only 14 medals issued to Bombay Artillerymen for service in the Indian Naval Brigade.
