Adams, Caulker) officially impressed naming; Turkish Crimea 1855, Sardinian issue, unnamed and fitted with a straight bar suspension surmounted by a Turkish crescent; Royal Navy L.S. & G.C., V.R., wide suspension (Carprs. Mte. H.M.S. Pembroke 20 Yrs.) light contact marks to the first, otherwise good very fine (3)

William Adams was born in 1826 and joined the service as Carpenter’s Crew in September 1847. He was awarded the L.S. & G.C. medal in April 1868.
