Confirmed on the ‘Roll of Military Signallers in the Punjab Division entitled to the India Medal of 1854, with “Hazara 1888” clasp under the provisions of Army Order 265 of 1889’, dated Umballa 26 March 1890. He is noted as serving in the Government Telegraph Department, Bengal Presidency.
