1914 Star, with Mons bar (33550 Cpl., R.F.A.); British War and Victory Medals (2.Lieut); 1939-45 Star; Defence and War Medals; Jubilee 1935; Territorial Decoration, G.VI.R., the reverse officially dated ‘1941’, good very fine (8)

Albert Edmund King was commissioned into the Royal Field Artillery in December 1917. He relinquished his commission in April 1920, retaining the rank of Lieutenant, and in September 1924, became Quartermaster of the 5th Territorial Battalion of the Northamptonshire Regiment, being promoted Captain in 1929, and Major in 1936.
