Lieutenant R. Neish was commossioned into the Royal Flying Corps in October 1917. He went to France with 110 Squadron (DH9A’s) in late August 1918, and participated in a raid on the eve of the Armistice. In 1941, Neish was commissioned Acting Pilot Officer.
