Theodore Evan Waddick was born in New Zealand on 10 April 1919 and enlisted in June 1940. He went to the Middle East with the 2nd Div. Cavalry Battalion, N.Z. Armoured Corps, and was seconded for “Special Duties” (believed to be L.R.D.G.) whilst in North Africa. He was mortally wounded in Italy on 7 October 1944, and succumbed to his wounds later in the day.
