Indian Mutiny 1857-58, 2 clasps, Relief of Lucknow, Lucknow (Corpl. J. Chettle, 2nd Bn. Mily. Train) top clasp sometime sprung from carriage and repaired with solder, otherwise good very fine

Corporal Chettle was drowned on 21 August 1858 and is commemorated by name on the memorial to the 2nd Battalion Military Train in Bristol Cathedral.
