Bombay Presidency Best Shot Medal, a cast silver medal in the form of a kneeling Sepoy, facing left with rifle to shoulder, the reverse inscribed ‘Given by Lord F. Fitzclarence’, good very fine

Lord Frederick Fitzclarence was one of ten illigitimate childre of William IV. He joined the army in 1831 and became Commander-in-Chief, Bombay, in 1852, and died two years later.
