The mounted group of seven miniature dress medals worn by Colonel C. P. Triscott, C.B., C.M.G., D.S.O., Royal Artillery, comprising C.B. (Military) breast badge in gold and enamels, with gold ribbon buckle; C.M.G., silver-gilt and enamels; D.S.O., V.R., gold and enamels; Afghanistan 1878-80, 1 clasp, Charasia; Kabul to Kandahar Star 1880; I.G.S. 1854, 2 clasps, Burma 1885-7, Burma 1887-89; I.G.S. 1895, 2 clasps, Punjab Frontier 1897-98, Tirah 1897-98, very fine (7)

Colonel C. P. Truscott won the D.S.O. during the Burma Campaign 1885-88, particularly as commander of the expedition against the Salay Hill Kachins, and to Lake Endawgyee and Jade Mines. His full sized awards were sold by Spink in January 1986.
