Thomas Morgan was born in the Parish of Stanton Long, near Much Wenlock, Shropshire, in 1858, and enlisted into the 53rd Regiment at Shrewsbury on 20 february 1879. He served in Egypt during the campaign of 1882, and was present with the regiment in Hong Kong from December 1891 to December 1894. He was finally discharged in May 1898. Sold with copy service papers.
