Egypt and Sudan 1882-89, undated reverse, 1 clasp, Suakin 1885 (Lieut., 3/Gren. Gds.) neat contemporary repair to suspension post; Khedive’s Star 1884-6, contact wear, otherwise very fine (2)

Arthur William Cotton, born 10 July 1861; Lieutenant, Liverpool Regiment, 10 May 1882; 3rd Bn. Grenadier Guards, 20 May 1882; Lieut. & Adjt. 1886-90; Captain, 2nd Bn. Grenadier Guards, 16 Nivember 1892. Captain Cotton served with the Sudan Expedition 1885, Suakin (medal and clasp, bronze star). Captain Cotton was A.D.C. to the Commander in Chief East indies from May 1892 to April 1893. He died at Beira on 25 October 1897.
