Albert Powell, born Petersfield, Hampshire, enlisted Gosport January 1898, was killed in an explosion whilst serving aboard the Armed Merchant Cruiser Montague, 19 March 1918. He is commemorated by name on the Portsmouth Naval Memorial. Sold with copy service papers.
