R.N. M.S.M. London Gazette 24 March 1919. ‘For services in the Northern Patrol, submarine hunting flotilla between 1 July and 11 November 1918.’ Ian McInnes lists only three M.S.M. and Messina Earthquake Medal combinations in his book The M.S.M. to the Royal Navy.
