Deck Hand William Patten, Royal Naval Reserve, of Gorran, Cornwall, was killed in action, when H.M. Trawler Charles Astie hit a mine and sank off Lough Swilly, 26.6.1917.
Private Thomas Muir, 8th battalion Royal Scots, enlisted in Hamilton, Lanarkshire and was killed in action, France / Flanders, 12.4.1918. His name is commemorated on the Ploegsteert Memorial.

Lance Corporal John Black, 2nd battalion Gordon Highlanders, was born in Anderston, Lanarkshire and enlisted in Glasgow, died of wounds, France / Flanders, 20.6.1916. He was buried in the Citadel New Military Cemetery, Fricourt, France.

Serjeant Percy Charles Turvey, 9th battalion London Regiment (formerly 3342, 12th London Regiment), enlisted in Holborn, London, was killed in action, France / Flanders, 15.8.1917. His name is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial.

Rifleman Albert Page, 1st battalion Rifle Brigade, was born in Fulham, Middlesex and enlisted in Woolwich, Kent, died of wounds, France / Flanders, 16.9.1916. He was buried in the Hamburg Cemetery, possibly indicating he was a prisoner of war.
