Edward Stokes Hatte was killed in action on 16 August 1917, while serving in the 7th Battalion, Royal Irish Rifles. He is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
Alfred Henry Hatte died on 19 October 1917, while serving in the 3rd Battalion, Auckland Regiment. He, too, is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium.
