Charles I (1625-1649), Thirty Shillings, mm. thistle with leaves on obv., small thistle on rev., small lettering, large harp, 14.99g/6h (Murray 5; B 51 variety; S 5557). Die scouring marks evident in obverse field, legend flat between 7 and 9 o’clock and at corresponding area on reverse (thought to be the result of the dies having been scoured of rust at these points), otherwise good very fine with a very clear portrait, toned (£400-450)
