David I (1124-1153), Sterling, uncertain mint [perhaps Roxburgh], bust right with sceptre, [d]avit:r retrograde, rev. cross fleury over saltire with pellet on two points, blundered legend, hvrnrfmrv:, 1.51g/4h (B fig. 19; cf. SCBI 35, 12; S 5009). Slightly off-centre and weak in places, but very fine for issue, rare (£600-700)
