William H. Greenwood was one of 14 men from the Tibshelf Corps of the St. John Ambulance Brigade, formed in Tibshelf, Derbyshire, in 1878, who volunteered for service in South Africa in 1901, 13 of whom returned home.
Sold together with the recipient’s riband bar, and a group photographic image of the Tibshelf Corps.
