Henry Fuller was born in Cambridge, and attested for the 90th Light Infantry at Ely, in December 1854. He served with the Regiment during the Crimean War and was wounded in the final attack on the Redan, 8 September 1855, ‘wound in the head & the right side in the trenches before Sebastopol’ (Service Papers refer).
Fuller served with the Regiment during the Indian Mutiny, and was discharged 17 October 1865, having served 12 years and 171 days with the Colours.
