20th (East Devon) Regiment Officer’s Helmet Plate 1878-81, of crowned gilt star pattern back plate with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet gilt numerals ‘20’, at the bottom a silver Sphinx/Egypt, complete with three loop fasteners, one ray finial with slight buckling otherwise excellent condition £340-440
