A good quality standard pattern example (19.2 cm x 7 cm), the metal pouch covered in black Moroccan and faced with silver (London 1874, maker’s mark rubbed), the face with a large gilt crowned ‘VR’ cypher, complete with side elements and carrying rings (unmarked). The pouch with ‘Hawkes 14 Piccadilly’ trade label, the side elements with slight damage and the fastening strap reduced, the cypher requires careful cleaning otherwise in good condition £140-200
