Two Officers’ 1878 Pattern Helmet Plates, both in silver plate and both with laurel and Garter overlays, the first displays in the centre on a ground of black velvet the Royal crest and maybe a general militia pattern; the second displays on a ground of red velvet the Royal Label of Cadency as used by the 1st Volunteer Battalion the Leicestershire Regiment 1883 onwards but with no evidence of there ever having been a title scroll, very good overall condition (2) £120-160
