A late Victorian gold and opal set necklace, composed of quatrefoil flowerhead links each centred with a cabochon opal, with figure-of-eight links between, suspending a matching heart-shaped pendant drop set with a trefoil of cabochon opals, to a belcher-link back chain, the final flowerhead link stamped ‘9’ to the reverse, necklace length 39.5cm, length of gem set section 18.5cm. £600-800
