NOTE. There are surprisingly few unidentified ‘L’ Volunteer Yeomanry units of the period, the ‘possibles’ are Langport (Somerset), Launceston (Cornwall), Loddon (Norfolk), Ludlow (Shropshire) and Lydd (Kent).
