British War Medal 1914-20 (Capt. N. A. Doggart. R.A.F.) extremely fine £60-80

Norman Alexander Doggart was born at Kirkcaldy, Fife, and was educated at Edinburgh University. He was commissioned Second Lieutenant in the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) on 23 September 1914, and served with them during the Great War, before transferring to the Royal Air Force. He was killed on 10 October 1918, whilst serving at 33rd Training Depot Station, and is buried in Botley Cemetery, Oxford.
