Showell c. 1902 - 1914, the blue cloth skull complete with all gilt metal fittings, the post 1902 frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black velvet a silver antelope, a silver scroll below ‘The Royal Warwickshire Regiment’, buff leather sweat band but only elements of the silk lining remain, the plate not original to the helmet, the tin with brass name plaque, the helmet plate with good quality gilt, gilt loss on all other areas and sundry small moth holes £200-300
