Two Bayonets, an Eastern Dagger and the Remains of a Hall Marked Silver Trophy, comprising a French chassepot bayonet without scabbard; a British Enfield-style bayonet, the 58 cm double curved blade with single fuller stamped at the forte ‘Chavasse’ steel cross piece rivetted composition hand grips together with its brass mounted leather scabbard (bottom chape missing); an Eastern dagger the blade 32 cms long of plain form, the hand grip being a 34 cm antelope’s horn (severely damaged) and blade rusty; the remains of a silver trophy hall marked Birmingham 1899 commemorates an award given at the Uppingham Christmas Fat Stock Show (4) £60-100
