Royal Naval Presentation Telescope 1911, a single draw example 57 cms when extended, the plated front section is engraved ‘Presented by the Lords of Admiralty 1st Engineering Prize Osborne Easter 1911 Won by F.A.Single R.N. 1st Engineering bracketed with 2nd Science Dartmouth 1913’, the draw end engraved F.A.Single R.N. and with supplier’s details Ross, London made for Gieve Matthews and Seagrove Ltd., London, Portsmouth and Devonport, complete with frontal cover and eye piece slide, some stitching faults to the leather bound central section otherwise good condition
