King’s Liverpool Regiment, 1st Volunteer Battalion Band Master’s Presentation Baton 1892, a very fine silver decorated ebony or whalebone baton 52 cms, silver tip 5 cms, central presentation plaque engraved as follows ‘Presented to Band Master Jas. Farrell by the Band 1st V.V.K.L.R. 1892,’ the top 10.6 cms with fluted squared section this embellished with floral and scrolling foliage is hall marked Birmingham 1889, complete with its leather lined leather covered carrying case, the presentation plaque lacks one retaining pin and the carrying case with some age wear otherwise very good condition (2) £150-200
