The Herefordshire Regiment Officer’s Blue Cloth Helmet c. 1908-14, the skull complete with all gilt metal fittings but totally devoid of gilt, the frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and Garter overlays, in the centre on a ground of black patent leather the Arms of Hereford in silver, a silver scroll at the bottom ‘The Herefordshire Regt’, again the plate devoid of gilt, buff leather sweatband with crimson silk lining, one helmet plate fastener appears to be missing, various small mothed areas and stitching faults to the chin chain lining £200-300
