Henry Gilbert Baker was born in Downend, Gloucestershire, in 1891 and attested for the Royal Garrison Artillery at Bristol on 17 November 1915. He served during the Great War on the Western Front, and was wounded at Ploegsteert, Belgium, on 24 June 1917, being specifically mentioned as such by name in the Battalion War Diary.

Albert Jackson, a native of Birkenhead, Cheshire, was born in 1897 and attested for the Royal Field Artillery at Birkenhead on 11 May 1916. He served during the Great War on the Western Front, and was severely wounded on 20 March 1918.

Alfred Charles Ruffle was born in 1891 and attested for the Royal Garrison Artillery on 17 February 1916. He served during the Great War on the Western Front from 25 November 1916, and suffered a severe flesh wound to the left side of his chest and a slight flesh wound to his left forearm caused by a shell on 17 June 1917.
