Sidney Reginald Brown was born on 20 August 1906 and served during the Second World War with the Royal Engineers. Advanced Warrant Officer on 22 May 1942, he subsequently became an In-Patient of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea, and died in Chelsea in December 1989.
Sold with the original Warrant appointing the recipient a Warrant Officer, dated 22 May 1942; a portrait photograph of the recipient; two group photographs, one of the recipient as a Chelsea Pensioner; and four smaller photographs.
