M.I.D. London Gazette 17 June 1952:
‘In recognition of gallant and distinguished services in Korea.’
Maurice James Joyce was born in Daventry, Northamptonshire on 10 May 1919 and served during the Second World War and with the 61st Light Anti-Aircraft Regiment, Royal Artillery in Korea. He received an ‘Immediate’ Mention in Despatches on 24 May 1952, and died in Bristol in June 1995.
