The Welsh Division & Cadet Company Royal Artillery Officers’ Blue Cloth Helmets c. 1890-1901, two near relic examples, the first complete with all gilt metal fittings, the frontal plate of Royal Arms pattern with laurel top scroll, double wheel cannon and bottom scroll ‘Welsh Division’, red moroccan sweatband and silk lining; the second complete with gilt metal fittings, the good quality frontal plate of Royal Arms pattern with ‘Ubique’ top scroll and bottom scroll ‘Cadet Company’, buff leather sweatband and silk lining, the first devoid of all gilt the cork shattered on the left rear area and the blue cloth split, the second with near detached front peak brass trim and faded overall, no gilt remains other than on the frontal plate; together with a reproduction print of a Light Dragoon Officer c. 1830 (3) £100-160
