Roman Imperial Coinage, Valentinian III, Solidus, Ravenna, c. 430-45, draped and cuirassed bust right with rosette diadem, rev. Emperor standing facing, holding Victory on orb in left hand and long cross in right hand, resting right foot on head of human-headed coiled serpent, r v in field, 4.53g (RIC 2018). Light graffiti on obverse, otherwise good very fine £400-£500
