The Reverend Frederick William Beal was commissioned temporary Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class on 11 November 1918, and served with the Royal Army Chaplain’s Department in Iraq and North West Persia. He relinquished his commission on 1 September 1921, and was granted the honorary rank of Chaplain to the Forces, 4th Class.
