N. Johnson served with the Small Arms School Corps (S.A.S.C.). This unit, one of the smallest Corps in the British Army, is responsible in maintaining the high standard in the use of small arms, support weapons and at the ranges. The instructors, usually experienced Infantry and Cavalry Soldiers, are often marksmen themselves.
