Memorial Plaque (Frederick Charles Purser) in card envelope of issue, good very fine £40-£50
Frederick Charles Purser was born in Buckland, Kent. He served during the Great War with The Buffs (East Kent Regiment) in the Persian theatre of war from 5 August 1915. Purser died of wounds whilst serving with the 6th Battalion on the Western Front, 5 April 1918. Corporal Purser is buried in the Gezaincourt Communal Cemetery Extension, Somme, France.
