PLSM 20 November 1970, again the first to be awarded to an African.

Sergeant Major Korera ( A2643 Inyanga) was employed in the Southern Rhodesia, Federal and Rhodesia Prison Services from 25 January 1939 - 25 January 1974, on the later date he retired on pension.
